Tacos and Tequila Naples & Other Taco Joints in Town

TACOS….if you’re like my family, it’s one of our favorite words.  I’m counting down my top 5 Taco places in Naples.

1. Tacos and Tequila Naples

My family’s personal favorite place to grab tacos is Tacos and Tequila Naples which not only has a variety of tacos but the best margaritas in Naples too! What stands out for me? I like that you can get different flavors and tastes going with the option to mix and match. A crispy fried chicken taco (the TNT), California taco, Cheeseburger taco, buffalo taco and more – so.many.options!

Add a strawberry margarita to the plate and endless chips with hot or mild salsa and you have a fun place to gather with girlfriends or family dinners. There are two locations in Naples right now, the original location off of Davis Blvd and their North Naples location in The Pavilion off Vanderbilt Beach Road (across 41 from the Mercato Naples).

2. Casamingos Naples

Located just south of Pine Ridge Road, near Waterside Shops off of 41, is Casamingos Naples. Another fantastic choice when looking for tacos and Mexican Food. The good part about this restaurant is that they stay open until 10pm, which is not always the case in Naples.

3. Mr. Tequila Naples

Mr. Tequilas also has been in Naples for 10 years and with two locations in Naples, one in East Naples off Tamiami Trail and the other off 41 just north of Golden Gate Blvd. They offer kids meals, happy hour specials and everything else you would expect.

4. Tijuana Flats Naples

Tijuana Flats is a fun casual restaurant for tex-mex and tacos in North Naples. Located on the corner of 41 and Immokalee Road in the Riverchase Plaza.  This is a go-to when you’re looking for a quick taco fix. And what’s unique about the restaurant is all the hot sauce options.  I like this restaurant the most because of the story behind it, who doesn’t love to read about someone’s success? The owner was a Florida college kid with an idea who begged his dad to loan him money to start a business. Lucky for all of us, his dad did, which led the son to not only open a restaurant but to then start his own hot sauce company. He know has 135 restaurants in 5 states.

5. Rocco’s Tacos Naples

A brand new Mercato restaurant, Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, is the latest franchise to hit Mercato in North Naples.  With an entire wall of tequila, large menu and DAILY Happy Hours from 4-7pm. It’s on the corner across from AZN and Silverspot. I honestly haven’t tried Rocco’s yet, so if you have – let me know your thoughts. I’ve been hearing rave reviews but it IS on my list.

I’m not gonna lie, now that I’ve written all of this, I’m really craving tacos…especially those endless bowls of chips and salsa .

What other local places have you been to that are out of this world? I’m always looking to expand my taco reach and believe it or not, always have people asking when they’re in town where they should go.
