Number 5: Jimmy P’s – Established in Naples in 1985 as a custom butcher shop, Jimmy P’s is now a third-generation, family-owned butcher shop and restaurant group. With two butcher shops located in Naples and Bonita Springs, as well as three full-service restaurants, Jimmy P’s has established itself as a locals favorite go-to for all things meat! I mean, How many butcher shops do you know that specialize in Australian Wagyu Beef, Heritage Berkshire pork, poultry, Colorado Prime lamb, veal and exotic game meats?!
Their restaurant options run the gamut from very casual dining at the butcher shop and cafe to their high-end menu and interiors at Charred. Which as you could guess, is a steakhouse serving all the best cuts from their butcher shops and an ample selection of fine wines.
My must-try dishes: The Charred Mediterranean Octopus is simply delicious and of course, their classic filet Mignon just melts in your mouth.
Visit jimmypsbutchershop.com for a list of their locations and hours.
Number 4: USS Nemos
If you’re looking for amazing seafood, which will be likely if you’re visiting Naples, you need to go check out USS Nemos!
USS Nemo, offers an exquisite dining experience. Their award-winning cuisine and unique ambiance make them a premier destination for high-end dining in southwest Florida. Voted a top restaurant in Naples year after year, locals and visitors alike appreciate their freshly caught dishes.
Located centrally on Tamiami Trail, USS Nemos is a short drive or bike ride from most popular locations in Naples. Be sure to make a reservation as early as possible. With only one location, their seats fill up fast…especially during travel season!
My must-try dish:
The miso-broiled sea bass is my absolute favorite thing on the menu and just happens to be their specialty as well!

Number 3: Sushi One
If you’re looking for great sushi in Naples, look no further than Sushi One!
Sushi One is a winner for affordable sushi and sashimi options in a casual setting perfect as a lunch option or family dining.
Raised in Japan, the owner and executive chef brings 26 years of experience to Naples.
He grew up loving fresh seafood and sushi. His passion for fishing led him to be a professional fisherman for 15 years. After coming to the United States in 1993, he worked as a chef in restaurants throughout Florida for 15 years while he dreamed of opening his own restaurant one day.
He co-founded Sushi One in the summer of 2009 with the encouragement and support of his loyal customers, family, and friends. Since then, the restaurant has become a Naples favorite and was recently awarded the Dining Awards Winner 2019 for Best Sushi by Gulf Shore Life Magazine.
Sushi one is located on the corner of Goodlette Frank & Pine Ridge Road. Check out their website at sushionenaples.com for their hours and menu.
My must-try dish:
The salmon caliente roll. Its got just a little kick in the roll but it’s So fresh and tasty!

MISTER O1 is a modern, conceptual and trendy pizzeria with 7 current locations and more coming soon.
The flour is imported directly from Italy and their ingredients are as fresh as they come. Nothing is ever frozen. Zero sugar or preservatives are added to their sauce.
My must-try dish:
Their famous “Star” pizza which has corners folded into an 8 point star and filled with ricotta cheese. Need I say more!

And my #1 pick goes to…drum roll please…21 Spices by Chef Asif
Number 1: 21 spices
Absolutely The Best Indian food, located off of Tamiami Trail, just East of downtown on your way to Marco Island, is 21 spices. Chef Asif is an award winning Chef with some very impressive accolades, INCLUDING being the Winner of the Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay Show (Season 17). He has more awards than you can count and has been featured on the Food network multiple times,
The atmosphere is more upscale although you can dress casually as well. They have classical Indian cuisine but with a modern presentation. The menu has a wide selection of curries and vegetarian delights, and an open-style kitchen. I like the traditional dish of Tikka Masala, however, some other popular dishes my friends and family like is the Tandoori Kashmiri Chicken, lamb vindaloo, and the Beef Sheek Kabob. In fact, they also cater events and if you’re lucky sometimes Chef Asif offers private cooking classes that you can sign up for.
…
I tried to cover my top picks in each category for this in this video, steak, seafood, sushi, pizza and an ethnic dining option. We have SO many great places to eat in town, this is a small fraction of my favorite go to’s.
