I had moved to Naples in 2007, young and independent, not knowing anyone within hundreds of miles and certainly never intending to be a Realtor. I was determined to explore the area and experience all the fun things it had to offer.
I started a job as the Marketing Director of the largest privately held commercial construction company in Florida. It was a good move not only professionally but because my boss introduced me to his cousin on a blind date. That cousin is now my husband!
As this new experience was 7 months after I moved to Naples and got settled out of nowhere, I was diagnosed with cancer – Non-hodgkins lymphoma at only 24 years old.
This is when I started the mind shift, that just like taking control in my health journey, I could take control of my future too. I realized that I’m extremely ambitious and self driven and while I really did love my job and the people, sitting at a desk from 8-5 was torture.
I had my first daughter and CRAVED flexibility. I was extremely efficient and I had many people tell me I should be a Realtor but I can’t even count the number of times I said “NO WAY! “I will NEVER be a Realtor”.
I felt their marketing materials were embarrassing, the sales mentality was cringey and they made the process SO much harder and more stressful than it needed to be.
And as luck would have it, I was introduced to the Top Agent in Naples to handle his marketing for $150 million of homes. I quickly realized there was a big piece missing to the traditional real estate process and with my skill set I had the ability to fix it.
Once I had my second child I knew it was the right time to dive into real estate on my own terms to fill in the gap.
I always tell my customers, I want you to be HAPPY, content and feel like I helped you accomplish your goals! I’ve created a unique process because I want to be of value, of service to you and your family.
That’s the beauty of working with me, I literally am your hands and feet during the ENTIRE process. In fact, 80% of my clients are not in town for selling or buying. We do everything virtually and I handle it all.
I wake up every day with gratitude. Thanking God for my life, my health and every blessing He’s given me. My husband, my kids, my family, my business and all I’ve been given. And in turn, my goal is to help bless others.
